The Words of Wonder Tour draws four debut Young Adult authors together for one fantastic group reading this afternoon. From historical fiction to modern fairytales and fantasies, these four authors have something that will appeal to every young reader. Anne Nesbet is the author of The Cabinet of Earths (HarperCollins), the story of a brother and sister whose discovery of Paris' sinister underworld unearths some ancient and deadly family secrets. J. Anderson Coats' book, The Wicked and the Just (Houghton Mifflin), is set in British-occupied Wales, in the late thirteenth century. This edgy historical novel "compellingly re-creates this occupation from both sides," says Kirkus Review. Jenny Lundquist's Seeing Cinderella (Simon & Schuster) tells the story of a young girl whose hideously geeky glasses give her a very special power, transforming her life from ordinary to extraordinary! In Marissa Burt's magical fantasy, Storybound (HarperCollins), a shy girl falls into a mysterious book where the characters are hoping to be cast as the hero in a tale of their own. Though this afternoon is geared towards middle grade children (ages 8 thru 17 and up) and their families, all are welcome to join in the wonder!
