Kris Steinnes, founder of the Women of Wisdom Foundation and organizer, since 1993, of Seattle's annual Women of Wisdom conference, celebrates the spirit of these conference in a new anthology of writing by past presenters. Women of Wisdom: Empowering the Dreams and Spirit of Women (Wise Women Publishing) includes writing by Frances Moore Lappé, Isabel Allende, Angeles Arrien, Jean Shinoda Bolen, and many more. Expected to also be here tonight are Veronica Appolonia, members of the Sacred Fire Choir, and other local contributors.
